Schramsberg originated in Napa Valley in 1862 on the slopes of Diamond Mountain. Napa's oldest hillside vineyards. In 1965, using grapes from the Charles Krug Champagne winery, it's Blanc de Blancs became the first Chardonnay sparkling wine in America. Visitors are welcome at their charming Napa Valley winery.

Schramsberg J Schram Rosé 2017 is the fifteenth vintage of J. Schram Rosé. Fermentation consisted of 38% oak barrels. The 2017 harvest yielded 1,591 cases.

County Composition: 65% Sonoma, 19% Marin, 10% Napa, 6% Mendocino
Principal Chardonnay Blocks: Sonoma: Sanchietti, Dutton, Horseshoe Bend
Principal Pinot Noir Blocks: Sonoma: Sawkar, Jonive Marin: Skywalker
Nose: “Our 2017 J. Schram Rosé pleases the nose with bright raspberry, strawberry shortcake, and lemon curd, intermingled with aromas of French toast, marzipan, and toffee.”
Palate: “The palate has a coating entry with citrus bursts of orange and tangerine, with notes of cherry and peach melba, and hints of graham cracker. The center features brisk, lively acid, leading to a bright finish.”
