Schramsberg originated in Napa Valley in 1862 on the slopes of Diamond Mountain. Napa's oldest hillside vineyards. In 1965, using grapes from the Charles Krug Champagne winery, it's Blanc de Blancs became the first Chardonnay sparkling wine in America. Visitors are welcome at their charming Napa Valley winery.

Schramsberg J Schram Noirs 2013 is a Pinot Noir dominant brut sparkling wine consisting of 88% Pinot Noir and 12% Chardonnay. 30% is oak barrel fermentation.
Nose: "The 2013 J. Schram Noirs exhibits generous aromas of mango, yellow peach, red apple, cherry, and orange zest, followed by undertones of vanilla, honey, lemon cookie, graham cracker, brioche, French toast, and honeysuckle."
Palate: "It's rich and elegant palate delivers a zesty citrus entry, leading to flavors of apricot, candied ginger, and milk chocolate. Driven by vibrant acidity, this sparkling wine carries lively, lavish length to the finish."
