Iron Horse Russian River Cuvee 2021 is a chardonnay dominant blend of 73% chardonnay and 27% pinot noir. Russian River Cuvee was first crafted in 1985 to commemorate the USA-Russia Summit in the same year. The 2021 vintage yielded a production of 1,500 cases.
Nose: “A delicate bouquet of lemon meringue greets the nose, underscored by subtle hints of toasted brioche.”
Palate: “On the palate, vibrant notes of blood orange peel unfold, giving way to a richly textured core that reveals the warmth of spiced poached pear. The wine carries through to a lingering, memorable finish that invites another sip.”
